1. The Why
Before we jump in the pool, we take the time to understand you. What are your goals? Why do you want private sessions? Whether it's stroke correction, confidence in the water, competition prep, or just getting started, we’ll have a proper chat to find out where you're at and what you're aiming for. The better we know you, the better we can coach you.
2. The Build
After our conversation, we’ll design a focused plan tailored to your needs and timeframe. Each session has purpose. No guesswork, no fluff. We’ll break down the skills, drills, and mindset needed to hit your goals, and walk you through how we’ll get there.

3. The Review
After each session, we debrief. You'll get feedback on your progress, insights on what to keep working on, and video footage when useful. Seeing yourself swim helps you improve faster. It's not just about the session, it's about understanding the journey and what comes next.

Bread and Butter Training offers personalised one-on-one swim sessions tailored to all levels, from beginners learning the basics to national-level athletes refining performance. Each session is designed to improve technique, build confidence, and help swimmers achieve their goals in the pool or open water. Whether you're training for a triathlon, Rottnest Channel Swim, Ironman, or simply want to swim better, our coaching covers stroke mechanics, pacing strategies, energy management, breathing techniques, and mindset training. Open water sessions also include sighting drills, drafting skills, and adapting to currents or waves. All sessions come with individualised drills and post-swim feedback to track progress and develop key skills over time. You'll learn to swim smarter, not harder, building efficiency, speed, endurance, and mental toughness for any goal.
